An eagerly awaited trip to Ayscoughfee Hall Cross Country meeting did not disappoint those who supported our athletes. Every runner improved on their previous position and there were some fantastic results to be very proud of. Holly (Year 4) completed her 4th victory in a row winning the Under 9 girls race very comfortably and Ethan (Year 4) also carried on his great run of form winning the boys Under 9 race. On what is a very demanding course, due to the large hill the runners need to negotiate, the Under 11 Girls team finished fourth overall with a fantastic score of 31 points for the first four runners home. Molly (4), Alexandra (6), Krystal (8) and Madeleine (13) were closely followed by Rachel (17) and Holly (19) which was a fantastic team effort. A special thanks to Jacob who entered at the last minute and managed to finish 9th in the Under 11 boys race, which was our highest placed runner. Well done to all the runners and supporters.
